Daily Fantasy NBA Basketball Picks for Yahoo - 12/28/15

Busy day today as we have 11 games scheduled. I'm hoping today will be as great as yesterday. Yesterday was awesome! I won 1st place in one of my leagues using the very lineup I suggested. Click DFS Basketball Picks to view my picks. I also did a post-mortem DFS Basketball Analysis.

Here's how I would spend my $200 today:

Point Guard

Goran Dragic
Opp - MIA, FPPG - 24, Salary - $22

Dragic has not fully lived up to expectations this year, but I think he's starting to turn it around. In his last game, he finished with 22 pts, 3 3pts, 6 rebs, 4 asts, and 1 stl, returning 35.7 to his owners. They will be playing the Nets tomorrow and Jarrett Jack isn't exactly a glue-type defender.

Shooting Guard

JJ Redick
Opp - WAS, FPPG - 21.1, Salary - $15

In his previous game against UTA, Redick was on fire! He finished with 25 pts, 5 3pts, 5 rebs, 2 asts, and 2 stls. That gave lucky owners an extra 34.9 fantasy points to be happy about. Looking at his 3 previous games, he's averaging 26.7 FPPG. At only $15, that's a pretty good deal!

Guard

Trey Burke
Opp - PHI, FPPG - 18.5, Salary - $12

Trey has been a disappointment this season, but I still have him in my lineup because they will be playing against PHI. He'll most likely be matched up with Ish Smith or Isaiah Canaan and none of those players are known to be solid defensively; heck, none of the players in that roster is known as such. If Burke can advantage of this situation and at least return 18.5 fantasy  points, I'll be a happy owner.

Small Forward

LeBron James
Opp - PHO, FPPG - 45.1, Salary - $52

Boy am I glad I didn't draft LeBron back in December 26 when the Cavs played POR. LeBron was not so "LeBron" during that game as he finished with only 12 pts, 4 rebs, 5 asts. Eeeew! I feel bad for the owners but LeBron is LeBron -- one of the greatest to ever play the game. He will bounce back and no better timing than tomorrow when they play against Brandon Knight and the Suns.

Power Forward

Taj Gibson
Opp - TOR, FPPG - 18.8, Salary - $12

Last game I drafted Taj, and he rewarded me with 12 pts, 8 rebs, and 1 ast; that's 22.1 fantasy points. For $12? Why not!

Forward

Kawhi Leonard
Opp - MIN, FPPG - 40.1, Salary - $45

I used to be a non-believer of Kawhi being the new "Tim Duncan" of the Spurs. Take note "used to". This year though, he has done nothing but proved to everyone (including myself) that he's a legitimate star player capable of carrying a long-storied franchise on his shoulder.

Center

DeAndre Jordan
Opp - WAS, FPPG - 33, Salary - $29

Blake Griffin is out with an injury and that means more rebounds for the "Big Hero 6". He is averaging 13 RPG in the season and is one of the few players capable of grabbing 20 rebs in one game.

Util

Chandler Parsons
Opp - MIL, FPPG - 16.7, Salary - $13

It's been a slow start to the season for Parsons primarily because of the injury he sustained a few months ago. He's been trying to get his legs back under him and it appears that is the case basing on his performance the past few games. Mavs head coach Rick Carlisle also confirmed this when he said that Chandler Parsons is no longer with minutes restriction. Pretty soon, Chandler Parsons will be back in the starting lineup and his salary back to $20s or $30s. Right now, he still costs $13 so what are you waiting for reading this post... scoop him up!

Don't forget to drop a note if this lineup worked for you!
